I used to own one, It is made to cut out shapes out of the center of plates and has the ability to follow a heavy pattern. It can cut aluminum plates, I used to make pie safes and attaches aluminum to wood as doors. The bad news is that saw table has no openings to remove the blade. Inorder to change the blade you need to cut and weld it that's why I sold it.
This saw is by far the most costly to keep running, in the past 2 years we have spent over $17,000 in repairs on a saw that is only 4 years old
I paid over 30k for this and was told it was made here in the USA, another saw salemen came to my shop today and showed me a website that sells the same saw for 26k and come to find out, ITS CHINA! MARVEL SOLD ME A ASIAN MACHINE AND TOLD IT IT WAS MADE HERE!
